Position Overview

Digital Contents & Localization Associate is responsible for overall digital content/asset E2E workflow and site merchandising strategy to support eCommerce businesses in APAC. He/she will be actively engaged in digital contents and assets planning related communications to provide ownership confirmation to multiple stakeholders and deliver regional needs from digital merchandising & content perspectives. He/she will support project-managing the local content creation/development process on a project basis which requires liaising between stakeholders, global/regional and cross-functional teams, as well as external vendors/agencies. He/she will stay on top of site merchandising strategy across APAC Digital downloading from the global and regularly communicating with the markets. Key partners will include regional eCommerce teams, global/international contents team, APAC buying and merchandising team, global/regional marketing/PR teams, global studios and Digital Design/Content Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support managing all brands’ ownership statuses and actively communicate with Global/International content teams providing regional needs in order to increase regional relevancy and drive stronger commercial success for every seasonal and strategic digital campaign
  • Keep up to date on latest digital contents and product asset production trends and data flow technology at both organization and industry levels
  • Stay abreast on corporate ethics regarding diversity & inclusion and cultural sensitivity and manage related communications with regional partners
  • Continuously streamline digital contents and product asset data flow based on regional needs and redesign backend workflow where necessary
  • Support high-priority projects & initiative asset production/delivery by coordinating with cross-functioning teams at global level
  • Take a supporting role in project management of local content development projects
    • Be the communicator between cross-functional teams, external vendors (ie: agencies), and stakeholders
    • Maintain a project tracker (ie: Monday) to capture and document all moving aspects of the project such as:
      • Marketing campaign timeline
      • Product Asset readiness
      • Site Content timeline
      • Shoot production timeline
      • Inventory Delivery timeline
    • Arranging various pre-production to post-production logistics:
      • Securing the product samples or props for the shoot
      • Feedback management with internal teams and external agency/vendor
  • Manage APAC site merchandising strategy:
    • Download the new initiatives and enhancements from the global team and communicate with the regions
    • Have a regular TB with each market to support each market’s site merchandising needs
    • Regular site screenings and competitor analysis to stay up to date with the market best practices
    • Be able to utilize analytic tools to measure the success of different site merchandising strategies

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skill is a must, additional Mandarin Chinese / Japanese and/or Korean (both written and verbal) language proficiency is a strong plus
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar industry/position in corporate environment
  • Minimum 2 years of Buying/Merchandising, Ecommerce Visual Merchandising or Digital Marketing is a strong plus
  • Be able to learn different systems and tools quickly
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Thrives in fast pace environment, highly organized, high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and efficient communication skills, a self-starter willing to take up new challenges
  • Independence in carrying out assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Project management or Account Executive experience is a huge plus
  • Excellent understanding of retail & eCommerce landscape and technology
  • Digital savvy, data-driven, excellent problem solver with analytical skills
  • Open-minded and ability to think creatively and propose new ways to continuously improve
  • Team player who appreciates cross functional collaboration and active engagement with a can-do mindset
  • Advance proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
