Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is growing its India based Marketing & Design IT team and is currently recruiting for a meticulous and experienced CAD specialist.
The CAD specialist would be responsible for driving production and coordination of work with the business and vendor for the visual merchandising platform rollout globally. He/She would support existing US, EU, and projected future AS projects and improvements for this application.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Act as CAD specialist and coordinator between the merchandising team, design team, contractor team to rollout Visual merchandising software.
•Oversee the production and timeline of project information models which contain 3D visualization and metadata
•Bring together data and models associated with the project
•Manage and document graphic and data standards to maintain the structure and health of the system
•Identify and manage new connections with other retail systems to improve overall workflows
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
•Overall 6+ years experience with 3+ Years experience as a CAD specialist within Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, or Retail Design companies
•Ability to manage project deadlines
•Strong communication and organization skills
•Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D BIM design software (AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, SketchUP, or Similar)
•Knowledge of retail store and fixture design
•Some knowledge of data standards, data reporting, and database organization
•Some Knowledge of visual merchandising of retail stores is beneficial
