Position Overview
The role will focus on driving analytical capabilities for the logistics organization that affect distribution, transportation, and inventory. The position ideally requires an understanding of wholesale, retail and direct-to-consumer business functions. This person will assist in planning, prioritizing, developing and communicating updates to key transformation initiatives related to Data & Analytics for APAC Regions, specifically for Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan.
The candidate will also possess knowledge of standard business processes related to distribution and fulfillment processes.
This individual will assist identifying and developing KPIs for our Global Logistics Operations. They will manage priorities with the business while taking on large projects themselves with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a core individual contributor in cross-functional projects that drive new analytical capabilities through data-driven decision-making processes and outcomes in the Logistics arena
- Develop analytical solutions that allow for collection, processing, and analysis of logistics data across various cloud platforms, ensuring data security, compliance, and accessibility
- Power BI Data Visualization & Analysis: Develop compelling visualizations while extracting meaningful insights from complex data to support data-driven decision making
- Logistics Data Analysis: Build & maintain complex data models tailored specifically to Global Logistics Operations
- Data Pipeline Construction: Collect, clean, transform, and load data from various global source applications
- Skillsets in driving complex solutioning & delivery of analytics through scalable reporting automation with minimal supervision
- Act as core liaison between the Global Logistics function and other business units, ensuring alignment on analytical strategic initiatives
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Relevant work experience related to Retail, Supply Chain, or Distribution
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Analytics Services including Power BI
- Highly Proficient with Microsoft Azure (i.e. IaaS, PaaS, Data Lake, ADF, Databricks)
- Demonstrated Experience with Power BI & Descriptive Analytic Concepts (Data Modeling, DAX, Visualizations)
- High proficiency in SQL, Python, & other data analysis languages
- Experience with building & maintaining complex Data Warehouses / Data Lakes
- Excellent English communication skills, both written & verbal
Preferred Qualification:
- Project management skills (including prioritization and organization) with ability to help leadership influence key business stakeholders to drive positive outcomes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform to develop and automate workflows, create custom applications, and enhance data analysis capabilities
- Azure Data Engineering / Modeling Certification
- Power BI Descriptive Analytics Certification
- Experience with large-scale Cloud Migration Projects & Concepts
- Experience with Cloud-based solution architecture data platform concepts
- Exposure to ML / AI development concepts
