Position Overview
We have an exciting vacancy for a sales professional at our home concession in the world famous Harrods Department store in Knightsbridge.
As a Sales professional for Ralph Lauren, you will offer an elevated in-store customer experience for the Home Department, delivering an uncompromising service to ensure the customer connects with the brand and is converted into a valuable customer. The Sales Associate within the Home department will leverage all opportunities to increase sales and growth for the Ralph Lauren business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
· Welcome and assist the customer and maintain the highest level of service.
· Exceed client expectations and demonstrate in depth knowledge of Ralph Lauren Home products and lifestyle collections.
· Meet store and personal sales objectives and KPI’s by delivering an elevated and personalized level of service and communication to all customers in store and via outreach
· Acquire, develop and retain a loyal client base of Very Important Customers (VIC’s), Super VIC’s and Top clients through advanced competency ultilising the Company clientelling tools and progressive ways of selling
· Generate quotes and track projects from point of purchase through to delivery and installation, assisting in all areas of the customer journey and after sales care
· Maintain and share in depth level of product knowledge and stock availability. Categories including furniture, lighting, fabric & wallpaper, rugs and home furnishings. Actively participate and contribute to store briefs and trainings
· Participate in store merchandising activities in line with the Ralph Lauren Brand Image directives and standards, including but not limited to: Daily stock maintenance and standards, Replenishment, Product transfers, New product launches and Seasonal floor changeovers
· Communicate Product and Customer feedback to buyers and managers
· Contribute to the maintenance of standards in the back of house and communal areas
· Perform opening and closing showroom duties as needed.
· Always adhere to all company policies and standard operating procedures
Knowledge & Skills
· 1 strategic cycle in luxury retail, Homeware or equivalent
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
· Communicates with confidence and maintains highest level of professionalism
· Highly organized and proactive individual, capable of multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment
· Maintains in depth product knowledge, identifies and acts on self-development opportunities to improve performance
· Has a strong focus on achieving personal sales and KPI goals
· Moves with urgency to deliver results and solution driven
· Proven capacity to utilize technology to drive sales, excellent computer skills
