As Director of Global Procurement, you'll be a key strategic partner driving our global procurement transformation through the implementation of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP+) platform. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end process transformation, from current state analysis through future state implementation, while ensuring alignment with business objectives. They will partner with third parties in critical areas including vendor management, pricing/cost management, supply planning integration, sourcing, purchase order management, and supplier collaboration processes.
Purpose:
Drive the development and execution of global procurement strategies within the new ERP ecosystem, combining functional expertise with technical knowledge to deliver transformational change while preserving RL's heritage of excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and approve, make decisions on project deliverables through all phases of solution confirmation, design, test and deployment phases which include but not limited to solution confirmation workshop decks, config rationale and functional design documents etc.
• Collaborate to prepare workshop content with respect to process design, key design decisions, business process flows and required process variations and change impacts across people, process and technology as a result of future state design
• Co-facilitate process workshops for their respective process and/or function
• Validate solution design with the process stakeholders to ensure that the design meets business needs
• Engage with Regional Process SMEs across divisions and geographies to solicit input and socialize design
• Provide inputs for configuration design, collaborate to design RICEFW functional specifications and transition to technical development team
• Provide reporting requirements to the Analytics team and collaborate on report design and validation
• Provide controls and compliance and security role design direction to Security team
• Own communication and management of changes in legacy applications as a result of future state design
• Identify and create required test cases/scenarios and test data for area of ownership
• Execute functional acceptance and system integration testing
• Data steward and owner for areas create/maintained by sub process. Lead data conversion validation and cleansing for area of ownership
• Support change management efforts for change impact and network enablement
• Review and approve training curriculum, training materials and execute train the trainer
• Coordinate User Acceptance testing for Super Users in area of ownership
• Define business cutover procedures for ramp up, black out and ramp up to enable SAP Go Live.
• Work with Deployment team to implement and monitor execution of business cutover procedures. Provide front-line post-go live support to end users
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Many years of experience in Sourcing and Production within Fashion/Retail industry
· Subject Matter Expert in sourcing and procurement processes from a business lens so we can define the future state vision.
· Builds effective relationships and engages in healthy conflict to influence change.
· Ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts across multiple stakeholders with conflicting views.
· Demonstrates ability to identify, implement and direct process improvement with ability to make decision
· Champion the project solution and frame changes in a way that engages and excites the end user community.
· Analyze and design business process.
· Possess expert process knowledge with openness to change with respect to adopting leading best practices.
· Take a pragmatic/economic view while prioritizing functionality. Make sacrifices for the bigger picture with strategic mindset.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills with end users and with the project teams.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritizes and meet deadlines in a fast based environment.
