Position Overview

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

       Ensure business operations are compliant per statutory requirements and company policies (T&E, Payment, Approval Matrix).

       Drive initiatives and actions to continuously improve controls, especially focus on critical areas such as employee reimbursement and payment management.

       On-Going consultation, handling enquiries and business partnering with key stakeholders (e.g.: Retail Operations, P&D, Marketing etc…)

       Develop, design and execute specific compliance trainings. 

       Provide consultation & awareness in the implementation & adoption of new requirements and/or changes to key controls. 

       Compliance for new business model set up and internal projects.

       Liaise with relevant government offices for data/information requirements.

       Assist internal and external auditors to conduct audit and follow up on remediation plan.

       Proactively identify new initiatives to improve efficiency.

       Other tasks arranged by supervisor.


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Requirements

       CPA or equivalent qualification with minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

       Degree Holder in Accounting, Finance or related field.

       Audit background is preferred.

       Fluency in English & Mandarin.

       Experience in working for a sizable MNC, ideally in a commercial & retail organization.

       Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel - understanding V-Lookup, Pivot & Functions).

       Knowledge of Finance Systems – preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system is an advantage.

       Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with senior business executives as well as immediate team members.

       Ability to work well under pressure on multiple tasks & deadlines.
