Position Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial and business support as part of the Corporate FP&A team.  Reporting to the Director FP&A, the analyst will support the Corporate FP&A team on all monthly key deliverables including forecasting, budgeting, long-term planning, trend analysis, reporting and variance analysis of financial results and forecast.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional FP&A management to coordinate deliverables for monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term planning
  • Assist in the preparation of the consolidated total company view of financial forecasting and planning, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), drivers of change, and risks and opportunities within the financial results
  • Provide senior business leaders with the accurate and comprehensive reporting and analyses necessary to make informed business decisions and to measure progress against outlined goals
  • Support the accounting team during the month-end close process
  • Analyze historical and current P&L and KPI trends to help identify areas of strength or opportunity
  • Proactively identify and implement internal process improvements to optimize efficiencies, improve the quality of analysis, and develop required reporting
  • Create ad hoc reporting to support strategic initiatives

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Highest degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication, analytical, critical-thinking and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and is resourceful, creative and time sensitive juggling multiple projects for challenging deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience with General Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion Essbase is a plus
