Position Overview

An amazing opportunity to work within the Retail & Employee Communications team, supporting the strategic direction and operational messages to stores and employees across Europe. Collaborating with multi-discipline teams to create and deliver retail and employee focused communications that support the daily running of our business across EMEA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

What does a typical day involve? Reporting to the Director of EMEA Communications you’ll be creating and producing daily operational messages to stores, managing the retail intranet and the internal social media platform. You’ll help create retail communications processes that simplify and streamline our internal ways of working. When managing communication, you’ll be working closely with other stakeholders to ensure updates are managed efficiently.  Whilst you’ll be right in the detail of content creation you’ll also be constantly focused on innovation and be thinking about how to evolve the user experience – to work more effectively. As someone with a keen interest in new technology you’ll be pioneering new ways of communicating and engaging with our retail audience.  You’ll focus on measuring the effectiveness of communication initiatives and compliance as well as implement improvements when required - managing weekly reporting and department dashboards. You will manage the retail calendar and oversee the department budget and Purchase Order process. Of course, there will be key internal events and conferences to develop and deliver and where needed assisting with ad hoc tasks. 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Who is our Communications Coordinator?  You’ll be an exceptional communicator; articulate with a focus on detail and accuracy. Passionate, energetic and able to work with urgency. Results driven with a key focus on developing stakeholder partnerships. Tech savvy with a strong working knowledge of InDesign, Microsoft Office and SharePoint. Your eye for detail, creative flair and ability to engage others in your mission will make you an integral part of our small but mighty team.  You’ll ideally have a degree or equivalent in Marketing/Communications or related field. Strong retail and/or operational experience is preferred.
