Position Overview
The EUC Windows Engineer will be a member of the End User & Collaboration team within Information Technology. The position will be afforded wide latitude for independent judgment and decision making, the role will include, but is not limited to the following:
Research, develop, and deployment of Microsoft Windows Modern Workplace solutions and Office 365 administration, including delivering proof of concepts to maximize the end user experience.
Participates in compliance and security reviews as necessary including working closely with internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the Modern Workplace architecture.
Develops, documents, and maintains policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use for the Microsoft Operating Systems, Office 365 Microsoft System Center Configuration Management, End Point Encryption, and various modern workplace technologies including Intune & Autopilot.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop future strategy for Modern workplace products and services; proactively administers all aspects of Modern Workplace related technologies including but not limited to, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft System Center Configuration Management, End Point Encryption, InTune, Office 365 and various modern workplace technologies.
Lead technical discussions with stakeholder/internal customers that drive decisions and implementation; ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems; independently analyzes, solves, and correct issues in real time; assisting in providing end-to-end root cause analysis for issues related to Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365 applications.
Automate the management of our applications, databases, and PC devices (Microsoft Auto- Pilot leveraging InTune)
Proactively identify trends, determine incident root causes, and manage adverse events from identification to resolution
Maintain systems and processes, including monitoring of system health to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Assist Learning and Development department with educating Ralph Lauren employees regarding collaboration policy and best practices.
Drive Modern Workplace engagements, ensure customer satisfaction, and timely delivery of projects.
Creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprints, and design specifications.
Open and manage support tickets with various support partners such as Microsoft Premier Support
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Experience developing processes and architecting Windows operating systems, and application deployment. This includes knowledge of MSI applications and SCCM task sequence technologies.
Experience with Office 365 tenant administration, including advanced troubleshooting, implementing and configuring Office 365 tenant environment.
Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting complex PC interoperability issues.
Experience designing and implementing automation capabilities using SCCM and Intune deployment tools.
Expert level PowerShell capabilities.
Experience working with cloud computing technology and virtualization. (Application containerization)
Experience coordinating the implementation of technical solutions on an enterprise scale is strongly preferred.
Experience in project management technologies and processes
Modern Workplace and Office 365 certificate completion or in progress are preferred.
Advanced knowledge of iOS and Android mobile devices and experience with MDM solutions.
Experience with Bitlocker (full disk encryption, antivirus) and SCCM for endpoint management and software delivery
