Position Overview
RL uses SAP Ariba solution for all the non-merchandize procurement. We have recently replaced out ITK with the SAP CIG middleware to connect the Ariba solution with core ERP. The Ariba CIG Analyst contributing towards the support and development of procurement solution using SAP Ariba, SAP PTP and CIG.
Based in Bengaluru, India, this analyst role will be working in partnership with technical resources on the Ariba and SAP teams, responsible for development, unit testing and documentation of enhancements, projects and day to day support activities within the SAP Ariba Technology.
As a CIG Analyst, you will be a part of a growing technology community that is Global in scope and works across all of Ralph Lauren’s regions & application disciplines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Have worked on SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway implementation as well as support projects (Minimum 2).
•Basic knowledge of Ariba upstream and downstream applications.
•Must have hands-on experience with Ariba CIG configurations required for sourcing with ERP.
•Handon experience for custom and extrinsic fields mapping (XLST) for CIG.
•Experience in various integration touch points in an Ariba SCC deployment such as Master data, Purchase order, Goods receipt, and Invoices.
•Experience in IDOC /ALE RFC Proxies and webservices.
•Basic understanding of Ariba features and functionalities.
•Elaboration and support in creating technical solution design.
•Exposure to planning and executing deployments for both Support and enhancement activities.
•Ability to clearly understand client requirements and analyze technical gaps.
•High-level understanding of business models/ processes.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Experience :
•Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Ariba implementation projects including CIG/Support work experience.
•Minimum two full life cycle Implementation
•Experience in SAP Ariba CIG integrations for upstream and downstream (must) modules to SAP ECC experience.
•Handon experience for CIG related configuration from Ariba and ERP side.
•Experience and Functional knowledge of the procurement Source-to-Pay life cycle, technical knowledge of the Ariba infrastructure and integration layers.
•Basic knowledge on SAP RTR and PTP business process transactions.
•Exposure to Ariba Open ICS tool
•Experience in translating business requirements into Ariba solutions.
•Must have the ability to work in a global delivery model
