Position Overview

Develop, execute, and communicate tactical distribution plans that support the assortment, marketing, and financial objectives of assigned product group. Establish the optimum commercial assortment allocation for the EMEA Omni channel region, whilst maximizing the financial plan and respecting the category/brand objectives and direction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Formulate strategic direction for the brand/category and marry back to financials.
  • Ensure the financial success of the product group with focus on sales, margin, & key KPIs.
  • Develop seasonal product assortments in line with planning targets of sales, SKU’s, productivity and product & cluster needs.
  • Execute the release of initial product distributions/delivery launches while aligning with store profiles/spaces.
  • Weekly & monthly sales analysis on class, delivery, and channel performance to make informed decisions to maximize business.
  • Collate, analyze and share industry/category trends.
  • Develop knowledge of geographic & store attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field feedback.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of new store openings & launches.
  • Partner with key planning partners on allocations, stock transfers, markdowns, returns.
  • Track and monitor DC available inventory for the product group, maximizing sales to stock ratios and turn for all managed channels.
  • Sizing analysis.
  • Participate in the pre-season financial plan and help to translate this into a commercial line to support the strategy of the brand/category.
  • Effectively partner with the European merchandising team in merchandise selection, market needs, development and allocation.
  • Creation of training materials & in store trainings during season.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and understanding of various textiles/fabrications.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
