Position Overview

Ralph Lauren is embarking on a multi-year transformation journey to expand our efforts to deliver on our sustainability goals and meet emerging regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations around value chain transparency and product traceability. We are assembling a cross-functional team under a new program called Transparency and Traceability (TNT) which will be responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of new data requirements and processes across the business. The work will involve scaling this TNT program to all product categories and raw materials across the Ralph Lauren brands, expanding our human rights and environment due diligence programs to upstream suppliers, enabling product impact disclosures and strengthening data controls for corporate reporting. The core teams involved include Sourcing, IT, Sustainability, Worker Well-Being, Legal & Compliance, Public Affairs and Product Management.      

 

As the IT Lead for TNT, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy for the technology transformation required to establish product and supply chain data connectivity across Ralph Lauren’s systems. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust platform that enables end-to-end visibility into Ralph Lauren’s supply chain and product journey

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the Ralph Lauren vision and strategy for a TNT technology platform, aligning it with overall business goals and sustainability initiatives. Communicate effectively on platform progress, benefits, and challenges. Launch and lead the Systems Solutions & Connectivity sub-working group under TNT.  

  • Platform Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive transparency and traceability technology platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. 

  • Technology Integration: Integrate the transparency and traceability platform with existing enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, SCM, etc.). Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities and efficiency. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal business partners, consultants and external stakeholders to develop the platform roadmap and rollout plan. Provide input on new IT processes and training materials required to support supplier onboarding, data collection and reporting needs.  

  • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the Transparency and Traceability platform, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience: 

  1. Experience in technology implementation within the fashion retail industry or international sourcing environment. 

  1. Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. 

  1. Prior experience in Product / Supplier data management systems/ ERP preferred 

  1. Accustomed to working in a global, diverse, and dynamic cross-functional environment 

  • Technical Skills: 

  • Familiarity with traceability technologies / platform. 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data management and reporting. 

  • Advanced experience with MS Office applications, Project Management, Incident Management tools 

  • Leadership Skills: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
