Position Overview

The Senior Procurement Analyst role entails conducting data analysis and providing support for procurement events within APAC. The primary objective is to support procurement team and establish long-term partnerships with vendors whenever feasible, in order to reduce transactional work and achieve optimal quality, service, price, and other favorable terms. This position reports to the Procurement Lead, APAC (or a designated representative appointed by the Procurement Lead, APAC). The Senior Procurement Analyst works closely with the Regional Procurement team, business stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and Procurement Operations at Ralph Lauren.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of Procurement Lead / Manager to develop Category management plan / approach in accordance with overall company strategy.
  • Deliver and execute procurement events in accordance with company procurement process and methodology including:
    • Development of Project Baselines and Spend Profiles
    • Development of vendor profiles
    • Development of industry Profiles
    • Identify and screen potential vendors and suppliers
    • Development of RF(x) for documents and events
    • Prepare Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and provide recommendations
    • Document project outcomes and financial impacts
  • Prepare and support reporting initiatives as required:
    • Spend analytics and assessment
    • Supplier performance reporting and savings
    • Create of Procurement Performance Dashboard Job 
    • Develop management reports to internal stakeholders
  • Involve in sourcing events
    • Initialization in procurement system
    • Documentation of process and subsequence governance
  • Responsible for execution of special ad / hoc projects for regional Procurement under the supervision / direction from Procurement Manager / Procurement Lead
    • Identification and implementation of Specific Improvement Opportunities
    • Development and Management of Project Workplan
    • Coordination of Stakeholder / Vendor Support on projects / procurement events
  • Assist with the implementation and transition to the business for execution of sourcing strategy, savings projects and new supplier transitions

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Data / Financial Analysis & Reporting, Sourcing, Project Management, and Contract Management required
  • 3+ years of Corporate Procurement or Transactional Purchasing preferred; knowledge of procurement fundamentals
  • Experience with ERP Systems preferred
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross functional team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solution oriented
  • Strong ability to analyze and organize data for presentation
  • Hands-on, organized, ability to multi-task, works well in fast pace environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite--Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables, v-Look Ups), PowerPoint, PowerBI
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills required
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, other language is a plus
