Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of Finance: Global Product, Brands, and Sustainability this role will lead the Corporate FP+A function for product cost and margin supporting both Brand and Sourcing leadership. This role will be supporting teams in our New York City Office and will have an in-office ask 2-3 days a week. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  •            Analyze and provide insights into the global competitive landscape, including but not limited to:

-    Supporting Supply Chain operations to develop robust Sourcing strategy scenarios to balance total cost, quality, brand equity, lead times and risk while meeting our sustainability and compliance goals.

-    Supporting Brand leadership in evaluating global brand and product financial performance.

-    Driving analytics and processes to evaluate product factory cost against macros and identifying cost reductions and tracking to realization.

-    Analyzing the impacts of product cost changes, line evolution and mix on gross margin/profit.

-    Supporting Integrated Business Planning in identifying and quantifying the financial impact of Planning initiatives.

-    Supporting Innovation to evaluate the financial impact of their potential investments, help them prioritize and monitor the outcome of such investments at predetermined stage gates.

  •       Publish timely performance updates including insightful analysis on results and initiatives.
  •       Analyze the supply chain for each brand/category to identify opportunities for inventory and expense reduction.
  •      Lead the continuing development of monthly, global brand P&Ls by region and channel (Actual & Forecast) with the Regional CFOs.
  •      Work with Senior Management to develop key quarterly and annual business performance presentations and coordinate their completion with functional teams.
  •       Generate routine and ad hoc analysis on key initiatives and metrics, identifying key variance drivers.
  •      Work with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Planning, Sustainability, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Creative Services to bring financial rigor to all significant business decisions.
  •       Serve as liaison for FP&A activities to Corporate, Investor Relations and Reporting teams.
  •       Develop a global team in support of the above.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

·        Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred.

·       10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with significant exposure to Supply Chain, Corporate FP&A (specifically Supply Chain and/or gross margin analysis) and international business.

·      Management of an international team.

·      Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

·      Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

·       Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees, and to collaborate and influence colleagues.

·       Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects to improve business results.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including deadline-sensitive priorities. 

·       Team player possessing a strong work ethic and drive for results.

·       Superb financial modeling skills.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
