Position Overview

Based in North Carolina, the Supply Chain Applications Support Manager will lead and manage the application support team for critical supply chain systems including Manhattan WMi, TGW ASRS, Mantissa, COFE, Barudan, and NextView. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance and support of integrated supply chain applications across multiple distribution centers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Supervision: Direct responsibility for Application Support team management. Independently lead supply chain application support initiatives. Supervise multiple internal and external resources across teams. Interface with vendors and stakeholders.

Position Scope : Own and lead support initiatives for integrated supply chain applications. Mastery of application support management skills. Complex analysis and troubleshooting. Delivery of innovative solutions and processes.

Professional interaction with all resources both internal and external.

Systems Scope: Advanced expertise in Manhattan WMi, TGW ASRS, Mantissa, COFE, Barudan, NextView, and related supply chain applications.

Responsibilities:

• Owns all aspects of supply chain application support initiatives required to deliver superior solutions on time and within budget 
• Responsible for application availability and performance monitoring 
• Provide direction to support teams and coordinate vendor relationships 
• Lead incident management and problem resolution processes 
• Perform complex problem determination and root cause analysis 
• Manage application upgrades, patches, and enhancement projects 
• Produce effective, professional user communications and documentation 
• Develop test plans and procedures for application changes 
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution 
• Provide production support as required 
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field 
• Many years experience with focus on supply chain applications support

• Advanced project management skills

• High level of professionalism

• Strong expertise in Manhattan WMi and warehouse applications

• Experience with automated warehouse systems support

• Familiarity with supply chain technical architecture

• Advanced analysis and troubleshooting skills

• Advanced personal computer skills including Microsoft Office suite

• Ability to work effectively within or lead a team

• Vendor Management expertise

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Flexibility to work extended hours during major incidents

• Excellence in stakeholder communication
