Position Overview

The Vendor Compliance Analyst will support vendors and internal Ralph Lauren teams with issues relating to the vendor compliance programs. They will research, diagnose non-compliance, and executes the appropriate resolutions.  The Vendor Compliance Analyst will identify vendor performance issues, process chargebacks, and develop recommended course of actions for the vendor to meet the requirements documented. The Vendor Compliance Analyst will work collaboratively with the cross-functional teams of Production, Merchandising, Drop Ship Operations, Inventory Management and Warehouse Operations to provide clear, consistent communication of vendor guidelines and compliance policies in a high growth retailer environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute processes to ensure that goods arrive at Ralph Lauren points ready to be received and/or shipped to Ralph Lauren customers in a compliant and automated fashion. 
  • Validate that the goods that are in-transit are ASN Compliant.  Work exceptions through communication with Vendors, Agents, and Production Partners. 
  • Resolve ASN Failures in RL Systems through communication with Vendor, Production, IT and/or other partners in Supply Chain and monitor completion and conduct root cause analysis if chargebacks result. 
  • Maintain and update Supply Chain Compliance Guides in a timely and effective manner. 
  • Develop strong relationships with production partners and vendors to ensure Supply Chain standards are clear, well communicated, measured, and met. 
  • Support the Vendor Onboarding education and training process as needed to provide clear guidance on our compliance policies. 
  • Identify, research, and analyze all non-compliance and provide resolution for issues arising from non-compliance.  
  • Provide analytical recommendations and develop new compliance programs that will deliver enhanced value to our customer experience.  
  • Maintain productive working relationships with all cross-functional areas, particularly Production, Merchandising, Warehouse Operations, Drop Ship Operations, and Inventory Management and collaborate with them to resolve open vendor compliance issues. 
  • Manage Expense Offset process and analyze vendor infraction reviews, disputes and decisions including recording of errors, and summary reporting. 
  • Field and respond to inquiries from internal and external partners regarding compliance issues such as: chargeback events, reversal status, and general supply chain requirements. 
  • Communication of non-compliance performance to Supply Chain partners, with the goal of driving improved performance. 
  • Lead and execute projects as needed by the manager.


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in Vendor Compliance, Quality Control, Global Sourcing a plus.
  • Experience in operations research, information systems, industrial engineering, logistics, business with some supply chain experience (or equivalent)
  • Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong decision making and follow up skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, be able to communicate
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Must demonstrate intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point
  • Able to work in a team environment.
