Position Overview


To drive sustainable top line sales growth, with a focus on quality of sales and AUR expansion while identifying  long term opportunity for high profile account partners by building strategic business plans and partnering with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
     

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Strategy Planning:
* Propose, negotiate and finalize seasonal Sales and Receipt plans 
* Develop seasonal Financial flow worksheet for each customer incorporating PRL product flow
  within parameters of account financial objectives for sales, turn and margin.
* Manage in-season business via weekly update and review of rolling
  12 Month Financial plans. Develop and implement strategies necessary to achieve plan
Provide input to on management of seasonal MD strategy  
* Review and discuss Financial and Brand/Class market share analysis highlighting areas of opportunity
* Analyze and develop seasonal strategy to achieve accounts' profitability objective for PRL
* Provide input to Marketing team on development of targeted and effective 
  account Marketing plans
* Review and communicate competition and product trend to Regional Merchandising and 
  Planning  (i.e. brand, class, key item) via monthly completion recap report
   
Assortment Planning Collaboration:
* Provide key item selling data for seasonal planning strategies
* Prepare, report and maintain Account Profiles (by door) for fashion concept planning   
* Review and advise Planning partner on seasonal fashion assortment plan development
  throughout process
   
   
Account Management and Communication:
* Conduct weekly conference calls with RDs, and Brand Managers
* Schedule, prepare, conduct and document Business Review  
  with Sales Mgt, RDs and Account Management. Topics to include:
  >Sales/Stock/Competition trend analysis and recommendation
  >Markdown strategy plan for future month(s) 
  >Shop Evaluation Recap and Staffing Plan Status review
* Coordinate and present management meetings (seasonally) to include:
  >Scheduling meeting and internal pre-meets
  >Recapping discussion
  >Execution of follow through
* Travel to have an understanding of business needs:
  >Develop Quarterly itinerary (Mgt. approved) to visit cross section of territory
  >Focus on reviewing Assortment content, market share trends, overall stock
     issues (inclusive of BSR) and overall retail execution
  >Support RDs and Brand Managers by reviewing visit findings with regional account management
   
Capital Planning:  
* Develop and enter all Capital projects into seasonal plan
* Evaluate and justify ROI to RL internal management review
* Coordinate and conduct presentation, negotiation and
  finalization of Capital plans with Account management
* Negotiate location and size of shop
* Analyze and manage productivity of space/increase sales per foot
   
Expense /Allowance Control:
* Manage all direct expense items within/below budget monthly
* Submit all expense reports complete and on a timely basis
* Manage all allowances and returns seasonally to ensure achievement of 
  annual profitability goals

* Strong product knowledge in premium/luxury segment of Men's apparel industry
