Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, creative, tech savvy, and highly motivated individual to join the Retail Marketing team for Europe, overseeing the brand growth strategy across all EU Retail doors and the overarching marketing strategy for the UK.

 

The position has an equal commercial and brand emphasis with the main objectives of driving brand awareness and desirability, store footfall, and revenue, and client acquisition and retention, whilst elevating and bringing new energy to the brand experience.

 

 The successful candidate will contribute to the team in terms of direct marketing, event planning, tourism initiatives, advertising, seasonal planning, presentation building, as well as result tracking and analysis.

 

Over and above all the skills and experience required to be successful as a marketer within Ralph Lauren, we seek an individual with a genuine passion and “feel” for the brand, strong interest in fashion and digital innovation, with strong project management skills.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting into the Retail Marketing Associate for Europe you will:

 

·        Participate in the elaboration of the Ralph Lauren brand retail marketing strategy for Europe.

 

·         Coordinate in-store events at local level to drive brand awareness, elevation, and traffic to stores.

 

·         Drive 360 marketing communication plan for all events and initiatives.

 

·         Manage the implementation of tourism strategies and activate culturally relevant marketing campaigns at key moments of the year.

 

·         Clearly communicate the validated strategy to internal stakeholders in order to create buy-in for the marketing plans and bring them alive.

 

·         Help identify innovative big ideas that can deliver strong brand awareness & engagement

 

  • Research and keep track of market trends and competitor activities, identifying key opportunities for ‘buzz generating’ activations.

 

  • Manage POs across multiple projects

 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

The role requires someone with strong communication skills, a business mindset and a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to be able to drive and execute ambitious projects involving several internal & external stakeholders.


·         Previous marketing or equivalent experience required, ideally in a Corporate office and in the Fashion or Retail industry (internship or relevant experience in Marketing)

·         Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages a bonus (German, French)

·         Strong business sense and analytical capacity.

·         Creative thinking skills and pro-activity in bringing new ideas and concepts to the table.

·         Curiosity and understanding of the luxury industry and competitors’ activities.

·         Detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills.
