Position Overview
Please note this is a Maternity Leave cover role for 9 months Fixed Term Contract.
As a part of Ralph Lauren’s EMEA Strategic Sourcing team, the Procurement Manager will report to the Sourcing & Procurement Lead for EMEA. You will be confident in stakeholder relationship building, business requirements gathering, conducting research and data analysis to facilitate the implementation of value creation opportunities, and working closely across the regional leaders to support construction project tenders and RFPs. As Procurement Manager, you will interact and work closely with the Ralph Lauren Architecture and Design teams, Construction teams, and Creative Studio.
You will also manage day to day activities for the assigned projects and initiatives. A strong desire to learn, self-start and previous experience in Store Development & Creative Services category analysis are essential to be successful in this role.
You will will be responsible for the execution of strategic sourcing and category management activities for the Store Development & Creative Services spend categories (specifically Millwork, General construction, Architectural services, Decorative items).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Please note this is a Maternity Leave cover role for 9 months Fixed Term Contract.
· Develop category strategy and approach in accordance with overall strategy of Global Procurement including:
§ Development of Category-Specific Strategies with focus on Store Development and Deco, in line with business needs and priorities.
§ Development of Key Stakeholder Relationships at Global and Regional level.
§ Prioritization and Planning of Strategic Sourcing Initiatives (RFPs).
§ Drive continuous improvement of service quality, cost and value delivered against contracts through KPIs and identification of opportunities to improve efficiencies
· Lead execution of Strategic Sourcing events in accordance with Ralph Lauren sourcing methodology including:
§ Development of Project Baselines and Spend Profiles, Industry & Vendor Profiles.
§ Development of RF(x) Documents.
§ Prepare and Lead Vendor Negotiations.
§ Development and Implementation of Supply Agreements.
§ Management of Project Timelines.
· Provide support for Global Procurement initiatives as required:
§ Support in training internal RL Stakeholders in Global Procurement processes and policies
§ Support in the delivery of successful Procurement Strategy for EMEA
§ Support RL culture by driving diversity, equality and inclusion in RFP strategies and wider initiatives
§ Update, maintain and follow up against critical path data sources (e.g. Scout, EMEA Saving Opportunities tracker, Marketing Projects tracker, preferred supplier list etc)
§ Coordination of Financial Capture of Sourcing Outcomes.
§ Supplier Relationship Management.
· Oversight of Strategic Sourcing Analysts’ day-to-day activities including:
§ Review and approve Ariba Purchase Requisitions
§ Review and approve Aravo New Vendor Requests, support Stakeholders as needed
Experience, Skills & Knowledge

- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite--Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Project a plus)
- Ability to travel domestically / abroad as needed.
- Professional certifications are an asset (APICS, CPIM, NAPM etc.).
- ERP knowledge preferred; SAP Ariba experience an asset
- Substantial experience in Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, Financial Analysis / Reporting, and Contract Management required.
- Store Development & Creative Services category-specific Strategic Sourcing experience, specifically in construction, decorative, interior design, merchandising tools.
- Experience leading RF(x) events required – experience with Scout/ RFP system an asset.
