Position Overview

Reporting to the Payroll Lead, EMEA, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing the France Payroll and general administration across Payroll and Benefits in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Payroll submission process through gathering of appropriate and timely Payroll data, recording and inputting Payroll data into the system
  • Processing New Starters/Leavers via Payroll interface, sickness, overtime & bonus information, family allowance, maternity/paternity pay, etc.
  • Collaborating with HR colleagues and Store managers to ensure that all relevant Payroll data is captured, and any HR related paperwork or processes are actioned
  • Responsible for providing support to Store managers in the efficient use of the Payroll self-service system
  • Responsibility for the maintenance of Payroll information on the shared drive and Payroll trackers
  • General queries & correspondence: Tax, Social Security, Health Insurance, Pension, Allowances, EAP, etc.
  • Liaising with external companies in relation to general queries for Pension, Healthcare, EAP, etc.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative tasks, including employee induction/queries, invoice payments and management of daily post.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong numeric, analytical, literacy and task management skills
  • Organized and systematic in approach to managing high volume of work and queries
  • Confidential and able to demonstrate discretion at all times
  • Team Player with strong sense of collaboration with other Payroll team members across EMEA, People team and business partners.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience of using Cloudpay is advantageous; however, experience of a computerised payroll system is essential – Workday is desirable
  • Strong MS Outlook, Excel and Word skills are essential
  • Flexibility with hours and peak periods of work is essential
  • Experience of Payroll administration is desirable although not essential
  • Must have a keen interest in Payroll/HR
