Position Overview

This position requires somone with a broad knowledge in building facility maintenance, with a stonger electrical bias, as well as having an understanding of Health & Safety procedures in the UK.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Daily early morning building facilites walk through, concentrating on the stores lighting repairs & light focusing.

Supporting the Maintenance Manager with the overall upkeep of the building facilites.

Reacting to any facility repairs either noticed during the morning walk through, or if advised of by other staff.

Being able to effectively report issues to the Maintenance Manager that require Further investigation/repair.

To support the Creative Dept to ensure thier displays are installed as expected.

Keeping facilities areas clean & organised. Reporting stock replenishment needed.

Have the ability to work with, instruct & guide visiting sub-contractors that are attendning to PPM's, maintenance or repairs.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Previous building maintenance experience will be advantageous, but not essential. 

Additionally to the general knowledge of all building facility repair is necessary, to have a good electrical understanding is necessary. 

It would be advantageous to be able to think laterally, so being able to provide solutions which would mean the building could operate until a more permanent solution can be implemented.
