Position Overview

An opportunity for a 12-month maternity cover position to work as a manager in the Business Planning team, you will be responsible for the forecasting of key KPIs across the brand’s DTC EMEA & LATAM e-commerce business. With an intuitive grasp of numbers, and an appreciation of workings in a dynamic omni-channel brand, you will have knowledge of the e-commerce strategic cycles. The role is varied and will include analysis, planning, reporting and presenting to multiple stakeholders in the business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for e-commerce revenue forecasting process from daily to annual levels
  • Good understanding of ecommerce KPI relationships with the ability to plan; Sales & GM, Traffic & Conversion, AOV & AUR, Return rates, Discount rates
  • Daily demand forecasting for fulfilment of order, unit and return volumes
  • Analyse and challenge the country and marketing performance. Probe areas of concern and identify paths to improvement. Make high level commercial suggestions and interpret trends and strategy into the forecast
  • Assemble and analyse data impacting the sales forecast (e.g. historical sales, Traffic trends, market trends, marketing channel mix and promotions). Have a thorough understanding of seasonal and marketing variations in trade throughout the year e.g. capsule drops, end of sale, cyber weekend
  • Manage and support new projects, initiatives and developments to gain an understanding of their impact on the business
  • Proactively identifying opportunities where analytics can benefit the business
  • Ability to move beyond analytical reporting and bring figures to life descriptively. Engage key stakeholders, identify relevant insights, and create meaningful actions from data

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyse and review large amounts of data in Excel, advanced level Excel essential
  • Motivated and driven, quick learner
