Position Overview
The Analyst, Transportation Freight Payment is responsible for working with Ralph Lauren's transportation freight payment provider to review and settle any outstanding invoices. The position is also responsible for freight payment settlement with RL carriers. Works with internal and external audit teams to confirm compliance to RL requirements. The analyst also assists in setting up new providers, contracts, and IT development required to support North America freight payment activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Transportation Freight Payment Analyst responsibilities and typical activities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Serves as key point of contact with RL accounts payable and transport payment company.
• Ensures freight payment company issues timely and accurate settlement statements to be validated and settled with RL accounts payable
• Works with RL nominated bank to ensure statement of accounts is settled
• Work with all modes in Freight Payment platform for error resolution
· Monthly & Weekly error report analysis and correction
· Daily carrier engagement and contract discrepancies resolution
· Ad Hoc error report
· Develops and distributes reports as needed
· Assists manager & team with special projects - i.e. KPIs, data quality
· Pay freight bills via RL nominated Bank and review any exceptions needing correction
· Participate in bi-weekly calls with FP provider reviewing project template and address any outstanding issues
· Work with Supply Chain Finance as needed to streamline data and support month end closing activity by timely issue resolution of monthly and weekly job activities
· Lead internal and external audits from transport perspective
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Knowledge and/or Key Competencies preferred:

• Knowledge of SAP and IDOC error resolution process
• Intermediate PC skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Word required
