Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated Analyst to join our Procurement team at Ralph Lauren. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with Procurement experience or Finance experience with exposure to procurement processes and wanting to further their specialism in this area. 
Day to day you’ll support the EMEA Procurement team with tasks across a variety of categories; ranging from Facilities and IT, to Marketing & Advertising, and even Store Development. Spend data analysis and reporting will make up a key function of this role as well as contributing to the development of the overarching Procurement team strategy. The extent of the support will vary, but will require contract preparation and management, data analysis, report creation, dashboard maintenance, management of procurement documents, due diligence checks, identifying opportunities for cost savings/process improvement as well as being the main point of contact for new supplier onboarding activity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support on Strategic Sourcing events in accordance with Ralph Lauren sourcing methodology including:
  • Development of RF(x) Documentation, and assist in related Procurement activities
  • Analysis of Vendor Quotes 
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Supporting in the Contract Management cycle; from preparation and Legal review to submission and signature 
  • Drive continuous improvement of service quality, cost and value delivered against contracts through KPIs and identification of opportunities to improve efficiencies

  • Provide support for Global Procurement initiatives as required:
  • Spend Analytics and Assessment to support key stakeholders in decision-making process
  • Procurement Performance Reporting and Savings
  • Procurement Policy and Process Compliance
  • Coordination of Financial Capture of Sourcing Outcomes
  • Support in training internal RL Stakeholders in Global Procurement processes and policies
  • Support in the delivery of successful Procurement Strategy for EMEA
  • Support RL culture by driving diversity, equality and inclusion in RFP strategies and wider initiatives

  • Provide Ad Hoc support across Global Procurement digital systems including:
  • Review and approve Ariba Purchase Requisitions 
  • Review and approve Aravo New Vendor Requests, support Stakeholders as needed
  • Update, maintain and follow up against critical path data sources (e.g. Scout, EMEA Saving Opportunities tracker, Marketing Projects tracker, preferred supplier list etc)


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in using Excel Pivot tables and Macros
  • Strong ability to analyse and organise data are essential
  • Excellent communication skills (capable of communicating with senior stakeholders)
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations / dynamic reports
  • Strong analytical, influencing, facilitating, team building, strategic thinking, solution-oriented, process-driven, people management, and time management abilities
  • Independent achiever & self-starter with commitment to superior quality and accuracy
  • Ability to execute under time sensitive deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment, even when faced with ambiguity

 Experience/Education:
  • Some understanding of end-to-end procurement process as well as using procurement systems (Ariba, Workday or similar)
  • Experience working in Retail (ideally in a luxury brand) considered an asset
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, or a related field preferred
  • Professional certifications are an asset (CIPS etc.)
  • Category-specific Strategic Sourcing experience considered an asset
  • Ability to travel domestically / abroad as needed
