Position Overview
As Set Designer for Showroom & Events (f/m/d), you will support the creative directives and create original visual solutions for projects across all of our brands. You will collaborate with internal business partners to achieve high standards in the visual presentation of the brand in accordance with seasonal and long-term corporate strategies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute the company's creative vision for showrooms, windows and special events
- Working across all RL brands to uphold and drive the brands visual standards
- Create original and inspiring visual solutions for that drive forward the brands visual direction whilst respecting its heritage
- Build strong links with EMEA and NY creative teams through regular communication
- Encourage sharing of ideas and resources across the regional creative teams
- Regularly meet with RL business partners / project stakeholders to effectively manage project delivery and understand expectations and adhere to budgets
- Support strategies with commercially focused yet visually exciting solutions that respect set budgets and timelines
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- Experience in relevant field (display, set design, styling visual merchandising etc.)
- Strong portfolio of successful design solutions and installations
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch-up
- Strong influencing skills to drive uptake of ideas and solutions within wider business partnerships
- Strong communicating skills to foster positive business partnerships with members of functional teams, departmental colleagues and external vendors
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to deal with a fast paced and changing environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously to keep them on deadline and on budget
- Passion and respect for brand and an interest in fashion and visual culture
