Position Overview

Maintain the operations and support of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations application for Asia Pacific.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the daily operations and support of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations
  • Collaborate with Helpdesk, India offshore D365 support team, local/global RL IT teams, the business teams and vendors to understand D365 issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Perform ad-hoc regression testing to understand the behavior of D365 existing functionalities when new processes are introduced
  • Have a good understanding of the up-stream and down-stream integration to and from D365
  • Identify recurring issues, system-related or business operations related, and discuss bugfixes/improvements within the D365 support teams. Manage the vendor to develop bugfixes and improvements in D365, and coordinate SIT and UAT. Collaborate with the D365 project team and vendor to deploy changes in Production
  • Document support processes and user guides for operations improvements, and provide training to team members, Helpdesk and the business accordingly
  • Provide effective communication updates on issue progress, resolution and change management status to IT management and the business community as received via the Helpdesk and formal business engagement.
  • Promote regular dialogue within IT and the business to share knowledge and field experiences in order ensure continuous improvement of support and services through alignment with business directions and strategies
  • Support fiscal Month-End and Year-End activities

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • 5 years hands-on experience in ERP operations
  • Microsoft Dynamics D365 or AX experience is preferred, where knowledge of the Finance & Operations module would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, such as PowerApps, PowerBI etc would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Ability to relate technology to business solutions and work under pressure and handle multi-tasks
  • Process Improvement/Re-engineering experience
