Position Overview
Ralph Lauren’s Intranet is a complex system developed using various SharePoint and web technologies.
This role is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the company’s intranet portal. The selected candidate will posses advanced expertise in SharePoint and software development.
As a SharePoint developer, you will be responsible for developing and configuring customized SharePoint systems and solutions. You will develop software according to company specifications provided by the business analyst. The role will report directly to the manager of SharePoint.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand the Strategy and Vision for Ralph Lauren’s intranet services.
- Participate in solution design discussions with key IT/Business partners to assess, develop and document requirements
- Provide necessary support in maintaining Ralph Lauren’s intranet.’
- Develop solutions that will improve the code base
- Support Data migration / Data integration relevant activities
- Provide day to day production support and uptime for the applications
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6 years of experience as a software developer or related field
- Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET and .NET Frameworks
- Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online
- Experience with the Power Platform
- Experience in Javascript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web services.
- High-level coding skills
- Ability to solve complex software issues.
- Strong problem solving, collaboration, communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with team members and cross functional partners
- Must be self-motivated/self-starter in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently and within a team
