Position Overview


18-month contract

This function acts as the analytical point of reference for consolidated EMEA insights on wholesale sell-in and sell-out performance and works closely with the Business Planning & Analytics Senior Manager to enhance our reporting deliverables. In addition, this role encompasses key collaboration with different teams, to translate complex data into strategic insights to support business decision-making.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

The ideal candidate will combine a strong analytical mindset and solid business acumen to articulate key business insights to Senior Management and other key stakeholders. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving and a storytelling mindset to build compelling and value-driving stories out of large volumes of data.

 

Sales Analytics:

  • Co-ordinate, supervise and produce centralized reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Build a repeatable suite of reporting tools used by all, based on stakeholder requirements and feedback
  • Liaise closely with regional sales analysts and other departments to provide qualitative insights on performance
  • Evaluate and challenge the coherence and accuracy of data coming from multiple data sources
  • Establish new communication channels with various teams to disseminate detailed business knowledge
  • Provide sales insights on ongoing initiatives (product, distribution) on a monthly, quarterly or ad hoc basis, to support future calls-to-action
  • Create compelling and highly visual PowerPoint presentations for Senior Management meetings and other ad hoc business analysis
  • Conduct innovative analyses to extract valuable insights from the data and support business performance
  • Contribute to the development of the team's analytics roadmap

 

Ad Hoc Support:

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including market reports, industry publications, and online databases to contextualize sales reporting
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings summarizing findings and insights for senior management and key stakeholders
  • ​Assist the team with project management and development tasks
   

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge


  • A first experience in sales, retail, buying or planning in the fashion or luxury sectors is required
  • Inquisitive, constant learner, ambitious in the goals they set themselves, growth mindset
  • Capable to synthesize large volumes of data with a storytelling approach
  • Critical-thinker, solutions-oriented
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to take initiative and work autonomously
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize. Comfortable working under time pressure
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills are mandatory, other relevant systems (Microstrategy, Power BI, Dataiku, …) a definite plus
  • Fluency in English is imperative, French or other languages are a plus
