Position Overview

Manage the development lifecycle process to ensure best in class product. 

Create, maintain, and execute product development strategies to ensure product quality, pricing, and timelines are adhered. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Development Leadership
• Drive end-to-end development 
• Support Sr.Manager/Lead development cost management -> ie responsible for all dev flash costing for board review, dev stock options, etc.
• Lead development meetings (PD WIPS), partner and support production manager during CFT meetings, and critical milestone reviews ie Rack Review
• Manage cross-functional collaboration between Design, Technical, Production, and Merchandising teams
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal partners and external offices and vendors
• SRS Management / Coordination due to Product Changes/Request/Alteration 
Technical Expertise & Process Management
• Oversee development of tech packs and specifications in PLM system
• Direct prototype development, wash processes, and treatments
• Guide print/graphic/lab dip development and approval processes
• Manage trims, labels and specialty hangtags; and/or partner with Fabric team (if applicable) for fabric development initiatives
• Ensure technical excellence and quality standards across categories
• BOM Complete management
• Sustainability Ensurance management - coordinate and partner with RM team to ensure sustainability process is met ie hangtags, documentation, etc.
• Secure product development based on vendor performance and capabilities
• Partner with Production Manager to adhere costing corporate goals, and actively working towards product engineer solutions 
Project & Timeline Management
• Maintain seasonal development calendars and tracking tools
• Drive on-time execution of all development milestones
• Manage sample development and approval processes
• Lead problem-solving for both regular and off-calendar products
Innovation & Quality Control
• Champion new development techniques and processes
• Drive continuous improvement in product development
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and quality benchmarks
• Coordinate SRS (Showroom Samples) reviews
• Track print and wash approvals for sales samples
Team Leadership
• Guide and mentor team members
• Foster creative problem-solving and innovation
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Drive knowledge sharing across global teams

• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and washing
• Excellence in project management and team coordination
• PLM system proficiency
