Position Overview

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain organized information for samples, garment deliveries, and open issues
  • Negotiate cost and delivery with sourcing offices, working directly with Manager/Lead on solutions and decisions. Communication must be timely, clear and concise.
  • Ability to identify risks and highlight major issues to Manager/Lead
  • Build OTB (ok to buy) plans with sourcing office and analize the informatioin to ensure that timing associated with fabric, production and logistics are in line. Review with Manager/Lead suggestions to solve timing issues. 
  • Drive communication with internal and external partners for updates on cost/delivery. (Design, PMT, Tech, Merchandising, Regional buyers, Sourcing Offices)
  • Communicate PO updates with guidance on problematic styles
  • In charge of scheduling and buliding the agendas for the CFT meetings
  • Share & review calendar deadlines with sourcing offices. Drive adherance to key milestones like  to input and finalize product costing in PLM with guidance
  • Manage and monitor leadtimes from development to store with solution suggestions
  • Organize the TOP (top of production) closet
  • Pull samples from DC, TOP Closet, stores, fty if needed for any reviews.
  • Assist with showroom sample receipts
  • Ability to manage multiple seasons and projects with guidance. 
  • Meeting attendance to WIP, CFT, TBs, Wash and design meetings if timing allows
  • Review and Monitor TNA set with sourcing offices and CFT with suggestions to solve issues with manager/lead.
  • Clean up BOM Completeness
  • TOP tracking and lead top reviews with CFT
  • Fit and wash Status - track and recognize when there is prolonged submit date. 
  • SRS samples - learn issues and mitigation that may prevent on time arrival
  • Begin to learn business analysis boucing off of Margin Roll
  • System Maintenance and input is required to support all of the functions in our corporate system.
  • Desire to learn about product life cycle
  • Attend denim tradeshows and other learning opportunities offered throughout the city (Cotton Inc Seminars or FIT speakers)
  • Attend and Participate in Shadeband meetings to begin to learn wash terminology and denim variances in bulk.
  • Support the manager with specific responsibilities related to the entire end to end product life cycle.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of garment manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of apparel product development; includes experience in the assigned product category 
  • Agile, nimble and solution oriented 
  • Actively displays curiosity, a desire to learn and grow, and an innovative mind-set
  • Strong communication and cross-functional team collaboration skills; ability to partner closely with Design, Technical Design, Raw Materials, and Merchandising Teams, as well as Sourcing Offices

  • Understanding cross-functional relationships, taking initiative to problem-solve
  • Strong presentation skills presenting to cross-functional partners
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, PLM, Airtable, Adobe XD, and O9
