Position Overview

As a Brand Image Specialist at Ralph Lauren, you will ensure the implementation of our seasonal guidelines and execution of rigs, mannequins and interior and window displays in our Wholesale and Retail stores in the Region with the goal to enhance brand aesthetic and to create a memorable customer shopping experience. You will also act as the Company ambassador for the Brand Image team and promote our visual Ralph Lauren global DNA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·   Be knowledgeable with our seasonally visual guidelines – ensure they implemented within your region.

·  Manage and implement seasonal updates/product pushes for each shop/ shop in shop in your region.

·  Create visually appealing merchandising that enhances Ralph Lauren DNA and maximizes sales potential.

·  Keep in communicate and partnering with the relevant teams with changeover dates/delivery status/capabilities of your region.

·  Collaborate with store teams to maintain visual standards and merchandising.

·  Train store teams on basic merchandising principles, maintenance, internal seasonal guidelines and provide seasonal training for the teams within your region.

·  Create and develop all seasonal floor plans.

·   Planning and implementing any new store opening, if scheduled within your region.

·  Enhance sales through visual merchandising that is in line with the company’s strategy.

In-Store visual presentation:

·        Liaise with the Communication Team and In-Store Management regarding all product seasonal presentation initiatives.

·        Create and develop seasonal floorplans.

·        Manage and implement seasonal change-over (visual strategies).

·        Ensure all product presentation guidelines are implemented and maintained.

·        Manage the presentation of POS material.

·        Plan and implement new corner openings.

·        Drive sales through invigorating in-store visual merchandising presentations.

Training:

·        Organize, prepare, and conduct seasonal training seminars for in-store staff.

·        Cascade seasonal and quarterly product flow directives as well as changes to teams.

·        Constantly train all Ralph Lauren sales staff and management on new brand image directives.

·        Develop in-store training material.

·        Ensure that the store staff are utilizing Retail Web and Corporate directives when applicable.

Reporting & Communication:

·        Regularly analyze and report on sales volume compared to stock levels.

·        Feedback call outs and store needs to Regional corporate management.

·        Communicate visual and sales results by creating weekly visit reports.


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in Visual Merchandising within a Retail environment.
  • You will be creative and possess elevated visual skills.
  • Strong understanding of Retail principles and Visual Merchandising techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills especially in time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours especially early mornings/late evenings.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office) are a must.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in Norwegian and English.
