Position Overview

Ralph Lauren Agency (RLA) Project Managers are a partner within the Agency and to cross functional partners across the company.They support end-to-end lifecycle of projects, processes and initiatives to bring our campaigns to life. RLA Project Managers partner with Marketing, Design, Creative and Production to align the macro-overview and micro details for all campaigns from pre-brief to delivery of shoots, digital and traditional media assets.

This role requires a strong understanding of project management, collaborative approach, expert communication and developing
people manager skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong partnerships with Marketing, Design, Creative, and Production
  • Control the flow of information by collecting, organizing and sharing the appropriate details at the appropriate time.
  • Clearly communicate project status in weekly wrap up reports as well as other necessary touch points.
  • Support all aspects of a project, including project planning, communication, scheduling, budget management, approvals,issue and risk tracking from ideation to delivery and beyond.
  • Work with Marketing to understand budget requirements and manage the bottoms up build with Production.
  • Manage and enforce timelines for world-class execution of all requests.
  • Calendar all cross functional meetings including manage meeting attendee lists. With oversight, responsible for kicking off/setting up each conversation, wrapping up at the end with action items and follow up notes.
  • Assists in creative reviews ensuring alignment to the brief and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on Deliverables Matrix to Ensure Production and Creative are clear on expectations and priority shots/needs.
  • Partner with Rights Management to ensure all final assets are right secured.
  • Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Routinely prioritize balancing the pursuit of opportunity and the application of resources appropriately for maximum benefit to the business.
  • Manage changes to project scope to ensure proper risk mitigation.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation and reporting for all assigned projects including timelines, dependencies, contingencies, requirements, status, progress and risks.
  • Regularly provide updates to Agency Project Management Lead and to project stakeholders as directed.
  • Schedule and support productive meetings that push projects towards completion

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Account management experience at an Agency or in a high paced environment with a background in project management/creative operations
  • Experience with photo, video and digital production
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a successful track record building relationships
  • Analytic, data driven thinker with a focus on finding innovative solutions to old (and new) challenges
  • Experience working in a complex corporate structure and an ability to influence across departmental boundaries to affect positive change. Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
