Position Overview
The Brand Marketing Project Manager will work directly with the Head of Brand Marketing and Brand Marketing leadership to lead the management of key marketing campaigns, ensuring efficiency and timeliness, and help oversee and optimize the Brand Marketing department processes, ensuring operational excellence. This person will play a critical role in providing clarity and momentum to drive key brand initiatives to fruition in a timely and cohesive manner.
The project manager will work with brand teams across our various businesses (incl. Mens, Women’s Kids & GC&S) and will be responsible for driving cross-functional planning and collaboration on key marketing campaigns, ensuring connectivity across all channels (PR, social, site, events) and with multiple partners (brand merchandising, regional marketing, and advertising agency)
They will support operations, workflow and resource allocation across the department and aggregate information under one holistic view.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage the workflow for key marketing campaigns, as defined by the consumer calendar, working across the function and in partnership with the cross functional teams.
• Managing weekly planning and long-range forecasting, navigating risks, proactively assessing issues, and providing solutions.
• Manage status reporting and remediation as appropriate regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Communicate to stakeholders, partners, and leadership across all phases of work
• Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication, tailoring structure, and content of messaging to the needs of the audience.
• Be accountable for and drive project process, communicating roadblocks, manage stakeholders and be relentless in adhere to delivery timelines.
• At completion of projects, provide Senior Management with an evaluation of project and process performance, with detailed opportunities for improvement (efficiency and impact)
• Provide administrative support with the development of decks, meetings, and presentations as needed
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Global Brand Marketing as needed
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
• Experience in project management within a creative agency or in house marketing team environment
• Ability to constructively evaluate projects in terms of needs, and schedules, providing creative solutions for challenging situations.
• Excellent organizational skills, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing priorities to help teams produce on time deliverables
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple projects and priorities across multiple channels
• Creative and innovative thinker with a solution-oriented approach and ability to identify opportunities and efficiencies
• Collaborative, customer focused, motivated, and energetic with ability to delegate effectively and motivate teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Keynote; ability to learn additional systems quickly
• Strong partner to creative and internal teams.
• Has a flexible, positive attitude and can work in ambiguous situations.
• A deep understanding of project management, workflow and infrastructure.
• More specifically, deep understanding of marketing process and operations incl. experience with common process opportunities and process-related problem solving.
