Position Overview

Ralph Lauren is looking for an experienced data flow analyst to study and enhance asset management practices in pre-production.  The data analyst will document as-is and to-be processes in support of a centralized digital asset management approach.  This rapidly expanding asset program currently services our global Photo Studios, Corporate Communications, Advertising and Design teams.  Ralph Lauren’s leading-edge Adobe Asset Management foundation requires a motivated and talented analyst.  The ideal candidate will be familiar with digital asset management and product lifecycle management in an Apparel setting.  The analyst will support the creation of pre-production design asset creation, management, distribution, retrieval and archival.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understanding of Ralph Lauren’s end-to-end digital asset management vision and support of the accompanying strategy
  • Understand and document a wide variety of digital asset types including 2D, 3D, Avatar, Block and Raw Materials
  • Influence our product asset flow and business processes from pre-production to post-production with a strong focus on reuse of assets
  • Participation in ongoing discussions with key IT and business partners to assess, define and document requirements backlog
  • Provide critical hands on analysis of existing solutions to help team members grasp the as-is flow of asset information
  • Author and create data flow / sequence diagrams that visually describe the flow of product assets

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience managing an enterprise application
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management technologies
  • Agile methodology experience including the use of Jira and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Digital Asset Management experience— Adobe AEM or similar enterprise class DAM applications
  • Product Lifecycle Management experience— PTC or similar enterprise class PLM applications
  • Presentation development skills (PowerPoint and Similar)
  • Experience with long term software program support
  • Understanding of contemporary data integration techniques
  • Familiarity with tools used to create and manipulate raster, vector and 3D assets
