Position Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Stock Manager / Operations Manager (fulltime) to support our Ralph Lauren store in Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet in Lelystad. In this challenging position you are responsible for the internal supply chain and ensure that the internal processes run smoothly. On a daily basis, you'll foster a "customer first" culture and support the store to ensure the team maximizes both store performance and profitability. With an infectious passion for the store, brand and product, you'll deliver the highest standards of operation, inventory compliance and productivity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategically manage the process of inventory and deliveries (including order planning and forecasting) in collaboration with the on-floor sales team and the (assistant) General Manager, so that the required daily replenishments are realized and the business objectives are achieved
- Leading, coaching and supporting the team in creating a customer-first culture and work environment that supports creativity, a strong work ethic and a passion for the Ralph Lauren Brand philosophy
- Manage and motivate the Sales Support Associates by communicating goals and initiatives through daily team briefings, conducting performance reviews, and creating personal development plans to support retention and drive results
- Manage workforce scheduling and track daily, weekly and monthly records
- Providing operational training of store processes and technical equipment, including the cash registers. In addition, responsible for other training and coaching of the team to maintain a positive and productive working environment
- Sharing and developing of product knowledge of the department to ensure operational efficiency and the sale (and replenishment) of products
- Handle customer inquiries on a positively and professionally manner and ensure that the team is trained to the required level
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Experience in managing warehouse processes in a fast and dynamic environment, preferably with an FMCG/Apparel Logistics/Retail background
- At least 3 years of experience with Warehouse Operations at supervisory level
- Extensive experience in people management, leadership, coaching and training of employees
- You have a good understanding of Microsoft Office and have specialist knowledge of Excel
- You have strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English (Dutch is an advantage)
- You are used to set up and manage warehouse performance through KPIs and service level agreements
- Stress resistant and used to working with deadlines
- Experience with RFID can be an advantage
