Position Overview

You will take full ownership of the performance and optimization of Internal Search, using the Bloomreach and SFCC tool. You will need to keep informed of new products launches, concepts, campaigns and promotions to ensure search results are accurate, correctly merchandised and localized.

You will report on performance weekly using Adobe, Bloomreach and Content Square reporting tools, to focus on areas of optimization. You will also partner with Global Data Scientists on how AI/Dataiku can be used to further maximise search performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure search recall is accurate across all of our languages and locales

  • Merchandise search results by pinning new releases/capsules to the top of search results

  • Ensure merchandising algorithm of search results is correct and localised

  • Work with AI/Dataiku to enhance search key words and tags, ensuring these are kept up to date and relevant

  • Review failed search terms

  • Report on performance weekly

  • Test, refine search algorithms to improve product discovery and conversion rates

  • Define the strategy for future growth and optimisations

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • 3.5+ full strategic cycles of experience working in an eCommerce environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to analyse data and create a working theory from data sets
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Continuous awareness of competitor sites, activity, functionality, innovation and best practices to ensure a fluid and optimal journey.  
  • Knowledge of analytics (Adobe, BI, Content Square)
  • Ability to think creatively and out of the box about processes and systems improvements
  • Experience of using analytic and creative skills to challenge the way we do things and find better solutions
  • Time management
  • Effective written and oral communications skills, with sensitivity to global communication needs
