Position Overview

The Network Engineer role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting and developing the Ralph Lauren global communications network to ensure the integrity and high availability of the wired and wireless network infrastructure and applications. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily network operations across the enterprise for both on-prem and cloud environments. In this role the candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of exciting next generation technology and take part in transformative projects. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations, service improvement and engineering for the RL Global Network with a local focus on the APAC region
  • Work closely with Ralph Lauren IT partners and the network operations center (NOC) to ensure the global network is monitored and maintained
  • Perform complex network troubleshooting and configuration across various technology providers such as Cisco, CloudGenix, Palo Alto, Aruba, F5, Meraki, NetScout and SolarWinds.
  • Manage IPAM regionally and maintain DHCP
  • Develop network policies and configuration templates for switches, routers, wireless access points, load balancers, firewalls and SD-WAN devices
  • Responsible for maintaining SLAs and driving technical problems to closure
  • Partner with and support Telephony and Video Conferencing teams to ensure a high-quality communications experience
  • Maintain and manage cabling standards of MDFs and IDFs across all corporate locations in the Metro area
  • Keep the network environment up to date and consistent on code releases
  • Support disaster recovery, data backup, business continuity and information security programs from a network perspective
  • Manage bandwidth capacity planning, QoS, COS, circuit ordering and termination

Experience, Skills & Knowledge


  • 3+ years enterprise level network engineering experience
  • Fluent Speaking and written in English. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Cisco routing and switching background with knowledge of the following dynamic routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
  • Strong knowledge of and experience implementing and maintaining network access control lists
  • Exposure to AWS and Azure cloud computing environments a plus
  • Current CCNA certification or higher desired
  • Experience in implementation of global network projects an advantage
  • Vendor management experience
  • Timely response to network outage notifications
  • Willingness to work during non-office hours
  • Ability to lift and ship network equipment as needed
  • Experience in Palo Alto Prisma platform and Aruba Central platform is definitely an advantage
