Position Overview

An exciting new position (12 month FTC) within the direct-to-consumer business planning team for EMEA. As our business is undergoing a global ERP & planning system transformation, we are looking for a data-driven, technical expert to be our team’s key link and support to these initiatives, whilst also supporting our channel planning with ad-hoc reporting queries, projects and roll ups across DTC business channels.

 

Please note this is a hybrid role spending at least 2 days a week in our Watford office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Become the go-to expert for systems transition, new processes, BI queries & data integrity  within the team

 

·         Partner across the business planning team and cross functionally to build relationships, align on requirements, highlight opportunities & challenges with systems transitions

 

·         Feedback requirements, findings, being vocal about EMEA’s needs to ensure a seamless transition

 

·         Represent our department in meetings (deputizing for lead where required)

 

·         Robust testing of new systems, metrics, processes ensuring usability & accuracy for planning digital and physical business channels

 

·         Continuously update the business planning team during migration to new systems, creating SOPs and running training sessions

 

·         Support channel leads & planning managers with ad-hoc analysis, monthly forecast & annual budget process and provide additional coverage on regular daily & weekly performance reporting where required

 

·         Identify and feedback process opportunities for greater synergy & integration across business planning channels

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

·         3-5 years strategic cycles in retail merchandising, data or financial role (role equivalent to junior manager level with no direct reports)

·         Passionate about systems, technical processes & data integrity

·         Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy imperative

·         Keenness to learn, problem solve and adapt to new tools & models

·         Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines

·         Advanced Excel skills to process & interpret data

·         Thorough understanding & application of retail maths & KPIs

·         Enthusiastic team player
