Position Overview

The Greeter & Concierge Associate plays a vital role as the first and final point of contact for every guest visiting our location. This role not only ensures a warm and gracious welcome by opening and closing the door for each customer but also serves as a knowledgeable concierge, providing guidance, personalized direction, and thoughtful service to all who enter our building.
The ideal candidate is personable, polished, poised under pressure, and deeply passionate about creating a memorable first impression that reflects the Ralph Lauren brand’s timeless elegance and hospitality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Warmly greet and farewell every customer entering and exiting the store with professionalism, courtesy, and a gracious demeanor.
• Physically manage the store’s entrance by opening and closing the door for guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming arrival experience.
• Act as a concierge and ambassador for the Ralph Lauren brand, offering directional assistance, store information, and introductions to appropriate team members based on guests’ needs and preferences.
• Provide guests with information on in-store services
• Manage and monitor guest flow, helping to maintain an organized and elevated atmosphere, maintain a clean entrance door and window, especially during high-traffic periods.
• Communicate efficiently with the store leadership and sales teams to ensure smooth guest hand-offs and service transitions.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the store layout, product categories, brand heritage, and service offerings to answer guest inquiries knowledgeably.
• Uphold Ralph Lauren’s brand standards for appearance, behavior at all times.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Prior experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, or luxury retail environment preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional, poised, and polished demeanor at all times.
- Passion for delivering a personalized and elevated guest experience.
- Strong situational awareness and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to partner effectively with sales, operations, and leadership teams.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to manage the opening and closing of doors and maintain a welcoming presence in varied weather conditions
- Occasional lifting of light objects (up to 15 lbs) for operational support
- Ability to stand, move and walk for multiple hours
