Position Overview

Ralph Lauren is seeking an E-Commerce Digital Operations Manager to oversee a team of digital operations associates and assistants to ensure timely seasonal sample and shoot planning responsibilities adhere to company timelines. In this role, the qualified candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of his/her team and be in constant communication with the studio Production, Styling, and Retouching teams to ensure the product is prioritized and processed in a timely manner. This is an entry-level management role where superior organizational and problem-solving abilities are a must, along with the ability to manage competing priorities between and across business groups.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage productivity for a team of 3-5 digital operations assistants/associates ordering and tracking via divisional reporting
  • Ensure that the DOA’s brands are meeting required business benchmarks (ie. 98% of product in inventory is available on-site) through detailed reports that include: Global Not on Web Reports/ Recaps, Global Merchandising Reports, Jira Tickets/Reporting, and Wholesale Reporting
  • Host weekly team touch bases, focusing on current and upcoming projects
  • Host monthly one-on-one touch bases with each DOA, focusing on career goals and development
  • Host weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with Merchandising, Buying, Merch Ops, Copy, Wholesale, and Global Digital teams
  • Foster relationships with the Merchandising, Buying, and Creative teams
  • Train new hires & continually mentor existing team members on necessary skill sets
  • Focus on overall Team Management and Team Building
  • Manage all cross-functional partnerships across all global teams
  • Troubleshooting daily process and system issues related to Adobe Experience Manager, Scene 7, image, merchant, creative, etc
  • Maintain sample shot lists for 3rd party global studies as well as oversee the creation and utilization of shared docs with Wholesale partners
  • Supervise DOA’s end-to-end brand management and encourage DOA’s agility in adapting to changes
  • Drive business development and site improvements through QA of all regions ’sites regularly, hold DOA’s accountable for found errors
  • Identify areas for process improvement, across all brands and with cross-functional partnerships
  • Supervise sample pulls and asset preparation for site features
  • Supervise the execution of site enhancements from a platform (SFCC) standpoint and create seasonal hindsight for all brands within assigned divisions regarding Sample Management
  • Supervise TOP sample ordering deadlines and monitor updates on the seasonal calendar
  • Oversee sample returns (ie. Distribution Centers, Showrooms, and Sample Sale) and return NA inventory on a weekly basis
  • Assist Digital Operations Lead & Studio Planning on ad-hoc projects as needed

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Self-driven leader who works well with others; prior management in e-commerce operations preferred
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
