Position Overview
This role is responsible for contributing in the design of and delivery of Begin and Learning Experiences for North America (NA). Acting as an internal learning consultant, this role will collaborate closely with the Employee Experience & Culture, and Employee Learning Experience leadership team, People Team, and leadership stakeholders for each global region’s client groups. The goal is to deliver impactful, engaging, and results-driven experiences that drive enterprise goals and connect our employees, particularly those in the Begin Stage of their career, to our purpose.
This role’s primary mission will be to partner with key stakeholders to design and deliver the Begin and Learning Experience strategy. This role will enable teams with learning experiences, embody Ralph Lauren values and culture, and maximize productivity. This role will manage learning experience deployment and facilitation to best contribute to business growth and a respectful and inclusive employee experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute in the development and deployment of Begin Stage programs and strategy.
- Work closely with the Begin Experience team and Global Employee Learning Experience Team to ensure consistency and alignment of Begin and Begin Learning experiences globally.
- Set clear objectives and outcomes for Begin learning experiences to demonstrate the quality of the learning, business impact, and learner feedback.
- Directly oversee the coordination, impact, and scale of the Global RL Ambassador Program to ensure alignment with global standards, practices, and regional relevancy for Store Immersions.
- Regularly assess Begin employee feedback, industry data and Begin survey results to measure the effectiveness of Begin programs and report to global and regional leadership.
- Incorporate Begin employee feedback from a broad spectrum of employee data and experiences.
- Work cross-functionally with various departments to integrate and operationalize Begin and Begin Learning experiences into the broader employee journey, including a system for cohort learning in the field and corporate settings.
- Act as a key representative of the company's purpose and culture by ensuring all Begin programs reinforce our core values.
- Operate in the spirit of continuous improvement and innovation on the cutting edge of onboarding via Begin experiences, including Begin Learning experiences, and Begin-related technology.
- Facilitate a variety of Begin learning experiences, including subject areas such as Professional Development, Leadership Skills, Offsites, and Conferences.
- Plan and project manage the delivery of Begin programs for new employees and employees transitioning to new roles/departments to create effective and engaging Begin experiences.
- Communicate effectively with the Employee Experience & Culture, and Employee Learning Experience team and other business units to support and enable efficient coordination of experiences.
- Support administrative tasks in our LMS, ensuring all Begin training is deployed, recorded, and reported on appropriately.
- Ensure understanding and adherence to local regulations, practices, and cultural sensitivities.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Previous experience in a Training role (preferably with an affinity for Retail).
- Strong Project Management, Instructional Design, Program Development & Facilitation expertise both virtually and in-person.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effectively manage time to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional attitude and approach to work.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).
- Previous experience with Learning Design software (Articulate, Rise, etc.) preferred.
- Previous experience with a Learning Management System (SuccessFactors, Workday Learning) preferred.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
