Position Overview

The Hospitality Support Associate ensures that exceptional luxury service standards, product/brand expertise, and hospitality are consistently communicated to all customers through all customer contact points, including in-person and over the telephone. The Client Services Associate will also be responsible for hospitality services as it relates to in-store client experience and be responsible for supporting the achievement of minimum monthly sales goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.

  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed. Maintain clean service or seating areas as needed.

  • Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.

  • Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions.

  • Receive and process customer payments.

  • Serve prepared foods, such as muffins, cookie or granola bars.

  • Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.

  • Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation.

  • Weigh, grind, or pack coffee beans for customers.

  • Wrap, label, or date food items for sale.

  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Ralph Lauren.

  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep shop operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.

  • Anticipates customer and company needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.

  • Follows Ralph Lauren operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.

  • Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the manager.

  • Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.

  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • 3-5 year experience as barista

  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed 

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work as part of a team 

  • Ability to build relationships

  • Ability to learn quickly
