Position Overview
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Promotes and adheres to all Company policy and procedures.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves all theft and fraud activity.
- Utilize all tools and resources provided by the company to detect and manage internal losses.
- Ensures all Company Safety Policy and Procedures are being followed reporting deficiencies to the Store Manager, State Manager and Regional Manager of Asset Protection.
- Develops and maintains partnerships with Store Management, State Manager, Regional Manager of Asset Protection, local law enforcement and mall security, as well as other departments.
- Provides expertise and training in all Operational areas of the Asset Protection Audit and Monthly Awareness Program.
- Conducts Asset Protection Store Orientation and Awareness Training.
- Conducts daily AP Perimeter walk to identify theft, physical security or safety opportunities.
- Conducts daily Cash Management Audit and Receiving Audit for procedural compliance.
- Follow up on Asset Protection Store Initiatives to ensure operational compliance.
- Participates in all store meetings and store management meetings.
- Manages inventory process ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Responds to alarm calls as needed and required in order to resolve all issues causing them, escalates when needed. Reviews weekly alarm reports and investigates when necessary.
- Work with Store Management and Inventory control to resolve any inventory discrepancies.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum three years in retail Asset Protection, multi-store, specialty experience preferred.
- Wicklander – Zulawski certified, or commiserate interview experience a plus. CFI eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong time management and multi tasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
