Position Overview

The Analyst, Media & Digital Marketing Insights will be a pivotal member of the North America Media & Digital Marketing team, supporting the Manager, Media & Digital Marketing Insights. The role will focus on delivering high-quality tactical analysis and reports for the Ralph Lauren media and digital marketing channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding on how all marketing channels perform and what their main KPIs are. They will ensure timely execution, accuracy in reporting and communicating key marketing highlights to external partners and key stake holders. The Analyst will be working closely with counterparts in Finance, CIX, vendors and agencies to inform any data needs and deliverables.

In this role, you will develop functional expertise in data analysis, confidence in sharing out key performance highlights and knowledge in providing ways to improve the business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

-        Assist Manager with forecast and plan the spending budget according to the performances and trends of each channel/campaign across different KPIs, regions and business needs through diagnostic modeling.

-        Assist on the set up and management of omni-channel dashboard and reports.

-        Understand and analyze KPIs by channel, device, region and country.

-        Generate insights at a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly level that translate to actionable data insights that will help drive demand growth, improve channel KPIs and increase brand loyalty / consumer acquisition.

-        Assist Manager and agency partners with development of forecasting to shape marketing and business ecisions including attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling, and category purchase modeling.

-        Create custom analysis that adds value to the 360 understanding of campaign performance and consumer behavior.

-        Guide projects to create reports and decks to internal and external partners.

-        Work closely with agency and integration teams to define, roadmap and implement any data models, data platform improvements and data ingestion.

-        Monitor industry changes and communicate marketing channel campaign support to external partners on a seasonal basis.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Relevant experience in Digital Marketing and Analytics
  • Demonstrated analytical experience including fluency with forecasting and budgeting
  • Ability to take complex data and communicate insights to internal and external partners
  • Experience performing ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation and presentation
  • Must have Microsoft Excel skills; comfortable with pivot tables, formulas, modeling, forecasting, budget management and quickly manipulate large data sets
  • Must have knowledge of web analytics platforms; Google Analytics and Omniture
  • Attention to detail and high aptitude for problem-solving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a strong collaborator who can work effectively with key cross-functional partners
