Position Overview

The analytics developer will interface with the lead developer and analytics team on gathering requirements, determining the best course of action and executing our analytics initiatives. The position will primarily support implementations across the RL analytics landscape which includes SFCC, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch/Data Collection, Adobe Experience Platform and Admin Console. The person in this role may also be tasked with the creation and/or maintenance of 3rd party pixels and API integrations (e.g. Google, Facebook, Twitter). In addition, developers in this role may be called upon to execute or assist with efforts not directly related to analytics in support of the larger development team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure that development tasks are executed at a high quality with no schedule overrun
Adhere to established coding patterns and best practices
Proactively manage work queue, using our internal processes and critical thinking in determining priority and urgency
Support and collaborate with colleagues on the development team
Work proactively with analytics team in translating analytics goals into requirements
Interface with vendors on 3rd party integrations
Work with a “global first” mentality, driving analytics data toward global uniformity
Think creatively about our analytics approach, researching new efficiencies, technologies and techniques
Administer our Adobe Products by setting up or creating users and profiles to manage permissions

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Multiple years JavaScript experience
experience in SFCC/Business Manager
Multiple years Adobe DTM/Launch/Data Collection
Working understanding of Adobe Analytics workspaces, components and report suite administration
Intimate familiarity with ES6, jQuery and CSS
Familiarity with building API requests with Postman or alternative tools
FE required, FS preferred
Knowledge of SFRA preferred, as well any additional frameworks e.g. Vue JS and Bootstrap
Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform and user administration preferred
Experience with GTM and GA preferred
