Position Overview
Ralph Lauren Asia Pacific is seeking to appoint an accounting assistant to handle rebill, settlement and reporting of intercompany charges across the APAC region, this will include transactions between Ralph Lauren entities within Asia, US and Europe.
Successful candidate should possess excellent collaborate and analytical skills with sound knowledge of accounting principles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for month end close.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Raise intercompany invoices for rebilling of merchandise, services, non-T&E rebill and personnel costs according to accounting policy, Service Agreement and local statutory requirements.
• Maintain a depository of accounting records for intercompany billing and settlement
• Produce intercompany reports like ageing reports, balance sheet reconciliation reports
• Liaise with Treasury on intercompany settlement
• Reconcile balances across parties and investigate out-of-balance cases
• Support financial audit on intercompany balances
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
• Perusing HKICPA or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in commercial accounting field, preferably in retail industry or MNCs
• Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related disciplines
• Fluency in English & Cantonese.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel - understanding V-Lookup, Pivot & Functions).
• Knowledge of Finance Systems – preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with different business partners as well as immediate team members.
• Ability to work well under pressure on multiple tasks & deadlines.
