Position Overview

This position will support the Global Citizenship department within the Company's Global Impact and Communications Division.  The role is based out of our HK office and will report to the Global Citizenship, Worker Well-being Lead for APAC.

The Manager will work with a global team and key cross-functional business partners to enhance the Company’s supply chain human rights due diligence across tiers. Candidate will engage with various supply chain stakeholders to achieve deeper supply chain transparency, assessment of human rights risks, and will drive strategy to mitigate and remediate risks.  Candidate will actively represent the Company in broader industry initiatives to scale efforts and impact.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to team goals on human rights, worker well-being, and social impact with a focus on upstream supply chain human rights due diligence
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders (labor groups, NGOs, MSIs) and represent the brand in engagements that drive the team’s strategy forward
  • Plan and implement action plans at a global level to support the Company’s Transparency and Traceability Strategy addressing human rights due diligence across tiers
  • Lead the team’s partnership with internal TNT partners to develop implementation strategies and ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Lead roundtable discussions and trainings on upstream HRDD for suppliers and cross-functional partners
  • Master the functionality of our supply chain mapping technology platform and lead our team’s engagement efforts and usage of the platform
  • Assess supplier performance and human rights risks leveraging established assessment tools and data on human rights risks
  • Support strategy development and deployment by identifying and recommending reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics on human rights due diligence and supplier ownership
  • Manage data analytics for upstream human rights risks and effectiveness of mitigation and remediation activities
  • Lead data collection for upstream suppliers for required Company reporting 
  • Leverage PowerPoint to communicate proposals and strategies in dynamic and visual ways 
  • Work with global team across multiple time zones

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • 7-10 years professional business experience, preferably in corporate social responsibility, social sustainability, human rights, or ethical trade
  • Experience collaborating with industry partners (associations, memberships) and working with peers and industry stakeholders on addressing human rights issues and impacts
  • Experience with human rights impact assessments a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn new topics
  • Capable of building effective relationships and successfully partnering with internal and external customers
  • Must be self-motivated / self-starter with commitment to superior quality and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deliverable deadlines with attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, & Word and Power BI
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to think holistically with action plans
  • Must be willing to participate in off-hours meetings/video calls
  • Experience working in an international organization/environment preferred
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
