Position Overview

For one of the largest and most successful doors in the Ralph Lauren portfolio, we are looking for a Store Manager (fulltime, 38 hours+ per week), who is up for the challenge of taking the store and team to the next level. 

In this position you are responsible for the store performance in Roermond. Together with your team of 8 managers (of which 2 direct reports), you lead and inspire a group of around 180 people. You make sure that apart from delivering and executing Ralph Lauren’s purpose, mission, and values, and achieving and exceeding the store’s financial goals, you embrace and protect a “One Team” culture, ensuring every client passing through our doors gets an experience worthy of the Ralph Lauren brand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Next to the required soft skills, you are a commercially and analytically strong individual, not afraid to make the necessary commercial decisions in line with company expectations. You have a great sense of responsibility, and you are aware of the impact you have as store manager on store performance and team morale. You are self-reflective and can acknowledge mistakes and see them as learning opportunities to move forward, both for yourself and for your team, making every day a new chance to get the most out of yourself and your team. 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Multiple years of experience in leading large teams (100+ headcount) 
  • Strong people skills and soft skills 
  • A client first mindset
  • A hands-on mindset, you lead by example and thrive on being with the team on the shop floor 
  • A proven track-record in the field of commercial management, in which previous retail or hospitality experience is a plus 
  • Analytical skills and experience with understanding and influencing sales and customer satisfaction related KPIs 
  • A problem solving mindset 
  • Experience with (retail) operations and a knack for operational efficiency 
  • A strong sense of priorities; you understand what matters most within different contexts and are not afraid to act on this
