Position Overview

The Applications Analyst of IBP, IT will be partnering with the IBP IT leadership to implement solutions in support of the overall IBP program. The role will work with the IBP IT team to ensure successful delivery of the global transformational project and assist in design, implementation and rollout aligning globally. IBP domain at a high level includes the domains of Financial & Strategic Planning, Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment/Buy and Space Planning & Demand Planning.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Part of the IBP IT team working with other IT teams, business & consulting partners along with solution partners to understand requirements to help with designing, building Functional Specifications and testing/deployments for the IBP program with a keen eye on aligning globally.
• Assist the teams to analyze, document and understand the integration of IBP functionalities with the other IT domains including ERP, Logistics, Line Planning etc.
• Assist the change management team as necessary and directed to ensure all the impacted users receive the necessary training, communication & documentation to ensure business continuity.
• Assist data analytics team to ensure all reporting needs and captured and work on testing and supporting them as part of the system rollouts for the program.
• Participate in the end-to-end testing to ensure system reliability and performance. Ensure thorough testing of solutions, troubleshoot issues and implement timely resolutions and escalate as necessary.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify issues and opportunities in solutions deployed through the IBP program and work with the workstream management to plan the fixes.
• Be the face of IT team for user support and look for opportunities to optimize the process and options to automate redundant functions be it functional or technical.
• Work with data & Analytics and IT Integration team to ensure data exchanges are working as planned and escalate any issues reported by the business as needed.
• Work with Agile process and help prioritize the sprints as needed.
• Continue to enforce adherence and compliance to SDLC, PMO and SOX processes for all phases.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the Retail/Apparel IT domain with experience in Merch Financial/Assortment/Buy Planning systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
• Effective communication and ability to facilitate meetings and workshops across functional teams.
