Position Overview

Support the Buying & Planning Team with operations to establish the optimum commercial cross channel assortment for related brands/regions, whilst maximizing the financial plan and respecting the category/brand objectives and direction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Individual accountabilities

o   Assort, price and forecast the line

o   Maintain the line in the IT system

o   Order & track samples orders

o   Track business performance weekly (SI, SO, GM,…)

o   Benchmark decisions against competition & broader market landscape

o   Prepare & present the assortment at line opening meeting

·         Shared accountabilities

o   Define seasonal assortment needs upfront & share with Global Merchandising teams

o   Contribute to brand elevation both on qualitative and quantitative point of view

o   Participate/initiate business development projects

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Office package knowledge
  • International (work / study)
  • 2+ full strategic cycles of work experience as Buying Assistant or similar role
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Concrete passion for Diversity & Inclusion values
